    A   Day




    ATTN:  Marching Band and Color Guard member for the 2017 season, please see Mr. Camp or Mrs. Battaglia for Dipson Movie raffle tickets.  These tickets are for your Syracuse trip fund.  All tickets will be due back by next week Thursday for a Friday, March 31st drawing, so get busy selling!  More tickets are available if you would like more. 


    Friday, March 24th will be a student HAT DAY and faculty/staff DRESS DOWN DAY.  Students pay $1.00 to wear their favorite hat.  Our collection will be donated to the Humane Society.


    Do you like Volleyball?  This year’s 2nd Annual Volleyball Tournament is on!  Don’t miss an opportunity to have fun with friends and beat other teams!  Last year, a team of teachers won.  This year, you could! Beat upper and lowerclassmen, teachers and faculty members, and maybe even a few administrators?!?  Come play! Registration forms are in the main office; it is $35 per team or only $5 per teammate to play.  Come join us and, who knows? You might even have some fun while winning!!



    Attention Students in grades 9-12…if you have not already ordered your yearbook, please see Mrs. Johnson to reserve yours today. There are only 50 extra copies available this year and they will be sold on a first come-first served basis. The cost is $64. Checks should be made payable to Falconer Yearbook.

    For those students who volunteered to tutor the Fenner students, please be sure to show up on your assigned days.  If you have any questions or concerns, please see Mrs. Swan. 

     Middle School



    "Hey Middle School - looking for something fun to do Friday night?  You are invited to the Student Council Movie Night to watch the movie "Middle School: Worst Years of my Life."  Pizza and other snacks will be sold in the cafeteria starting at 5:45.  The movie will start at 6:30 in the auditorium.  Cost for the movie is $2.00.  Don't forget to hand in your permission slips to your homeroom as soon as you can!  Please refer to the handout for any additional information, or ask Mrs. Lodestro! "  


    So, the word in the halls is that you are a hot shot roller skater or roller blader.   Now there are just 13 hot seats left on the bus to Russell Roller Rink. Get your hot wheels on and go roller skating after school next Friday, March 31!  Return the signed permission slips to your homeroom or to Mrs. Tordella as soon as possible to reserve your seat on the bus.



    There will be a Junior class meeting next Tuesday for all officers to continue to plan prom please plan to attend.


    Attention FBLA Members…We will be meeting every day this week to work on some of our chapter competitions. If you are available, please report to room 131 during 9th period to help out.







    Reminder to any girls who want to try out for modified, JV and Varsity basketball team next year open gym on Mondays and Thursdays unless notified differently


    Reminder to all Varsity and JV Girls basketball team you MUST have your uniforms and warm ups handed in ASAP




    Any student interested in taking Driver Education this summer may pick up an informational letter and registration form from the Guidance Office.  Space is limited.  Sessions are determined on a first come, first serve basis.  See Mrs. Hedstrand with any questions.



    Chautauqua Striders will be offering a preparation course for the May 6, 2017 SAT Exam.  Our workshop delivers a comprehensive look at the SATs and provides students with a variety of practice opportunities.  Group instruction, small group discussions and independent exploration allow for learners of every type to gain meaningful exposure to test.  Students will be given directives to complete specific sections of a practice test to be used as a guide for review.  As with any prep course, student’s individual experience will depend on their level of commitment and presence at the sessions. 

    Sessions will be held at Striders Main Office (301 East 2nd Street Suite 102) from 6-8pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays, April 4th, 6th, 18th, 20th, 25th, 27th, May 2nd & 4th.   Cost for the workshop is $75, which includes all materials and copies of two complete tests.  Registration is available online at  or by calling Pam at 489-3485.  Space is limited so reserve your spot immediately.
